Educating students on the past, present, and future of technology, while opening eyes, minds and hearts through hands on projects and activities.
Students will experience how the world of aerospace comes alive through hands-on activities, research, design and experimentation. Understanding the elements of aerodynamics, propulsion, materials and structures, and stability and control are all key elements designing an aircraft or spacecraft engineers undertake. Students will understand the physics behind making a heavier than air object, such as an aircraft, virtually lighter than air by using simulations to creating airfoils. Space is from 100 miles above the earth through the solar system and beyond. Students will experience space travel and spacecraft innovation through interactive simulations.
